  • Nov 27, 2010 I am a new member for Teamviewer. I thought that I had configured everything OK but when I try and access or move a file or access to a folder on my partners pc, I keep getting a message, ' The access was denied because the specified directory is not public'. Does anyone out there have an answer to this. I have everything open for FULL ACCESS.

A Safe Mode boot deletes some system caches that might help.

To keep the TeamViewer windows service running with Service Protector: Download and install Service Protector, if necessary. Start Service Protector. Select Protector Add to open the Add Protector window: On the General tab, select the TeamViewer service from the Service to protect pull-down list.



  1. Start or restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key. The white Apple logo appears on your display. If you don't see the Apple logo, learn what to do.
  2. Release the shift key when you see the login window. If your startup disk is encrypted with FileVault, you might be asked to log in twice: once to unlock the startup disk, and again to log in to the Finder.

3. To leave safe mode, restart your Mac without pressing any keys during startup. Season 1 walking dead.
