- I am just starting out learning Garageband. I thought I’d record a song that has both a 9/8 and 6/8 time signatures in it. It looks like I can’t do that. I presume the solution is a click track. I thought the simplicity of Garageband would serve me well but I’m not so sure any more based on the comments on this site which have been helpful.

- Sep 25, 2016 I recorded a song using GarageBand on my iPod, then e-mailed it to my husband’s laptop, and the attachment was an MP4 of some kind, which I was able to convert online to MP3 for a song hosting site. The next time I did the same thing, the attachment was “.band” and it won’t open. Why did this change? How do I change it back???

- Aug 11, 2017 So this is what I did just a few weeks ago on my sisters's iPad 2: you have to open up iTunes on your computer and sing in with your Apple ID. Go to the store, search for GarageBand and 'purchase' it there. Then, on your iPad open AppStore and you'll find GarageBand under purchased apps.
